Ok, so it is not a postcard to someone, am working on that. But I think it is in the spirit of sharing our favorite places and things that make us want to send postcards.
Just went out in my neighborhood and around the corner to the river and took a few shots. Justing trying to capture a little of the charm of it.

Terry, thanks for sharing the trees in their autumn glory. It doesn't get cold enough here for the trees to have that beauty. Their leaves just turn brown, as if they don't have enough water, and drop.
Thanks for the walk around your neighborhood. I had my coffee with me. It was quite enjoyable! Wish I had a dog to walk...

From Ocean county NJ: I just stepped out side and took these pictures. If it hadn't been starting to rain, I'd have gone on up to the cross street at the end there and gotten some better shots of trees. It's not like back in Florida but it does get a little colorful...
